It seems that accounts as old as mine are seem to come in two groups. Either they are long dead or they seem to be real popular aka multiple thousands of followers. It does make sense that real old accounts would have thousands of followers. Now I would not be all that shocked if one looked into a great many of the followers you would find many of them just may be dead accounts them selves. In other words someone created an account was part of the fandom for a time then lost interest and left the account active but had not logged on for many of years and in all likelihood will never will again.

That I have so few followers is not all that socking as do to my autism I do and say things that make others quite uncomeatable and they unsubscribe from my account quite quickly. That is why I may not have great many of dead accounts that follow me. Oh I would not be all that shocked if I learned that a good many accounts that follow me may be dead accounts. I would say many of them may have followed me then soon after the people just stopped paying attention to FA for what ever reason. I don't hold this against anyone. If they are made to feel uncomfortable by someone no matter the reason they should unsubscribe form that persons account.
