1st Local Furmeet + TFF 2022 Reg 140th Journal

This is my head.
Well well well, I finally went to the local furmeet in San Antonio at a bowling alley. I did attend one in Houston a few months back but took the plunge here. The bowling place was across town but nothing like the 3 hour drive I did previously.
There were around 40 furs or so attending after the long hiatus due to that something-something that is still going around. So mask was required except when lunch was served, which were cheese and pepperoni pizzas and some chicken wings. I ended up devouring two slices of the pizza and four drumsticks.
I didn't bowl (I literally been decades since I did that last), so I just hung around some. I did chatted with some people although it tended to be mostly people I met before at the cons. One person was from Austin, a couple from San Antonio itself, and a new person was from San Marcos.I was hoping to meet more new SA furs but it is a start.
I did got into a few photos here and there ( Group photo https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FExQE7o.....name=4096x4096 to the right - hehe, this time Knoxx was behind me) and at least one YouTube video ( https://youtu.be/rT6CoBBzhlM I showed up on the left at the 15 sec mark).
Speaking of attending, I gone ahead and pre-regged for the sponsor level for TFF 2022. I also reserved a room in the main hotel for Thursday to Monday. The only thing left was a single king-size bed. Right now I am the only one in the room. A bit of a waste and I would like to find a roommate or two. If anyone is interested, I'm an old timer (been in the fandom for decades). I don't smoke, do drugs (aside from the prescriptions), and I almost never drink. Just a crazy dragon.
I couldn't find any roomies before StratosFur and had the whole room to myself. While nice, I would like to utilize that space better, especially going to TFF as that is a much bigger con and rooms at the main hotel will become more and more sparse. Plus if I could offset some of the cost, it would be nice too if I can manage that. I don't want like eight people to a room like I heard at ACFI. That is a bit too crazy. I think three tops (or maybe four but that'll be right enough) though with just a single king size, someone would need to sleep on the couch (if there is one) or bring something like an air mattress. I'll talk about it some more as the date of the con nears.
