I always overdo the sauce. Whenever cooking something, I always feel like I need to make sure there's enough sauce to properly spread over all the food, which always leads to me underestimating how well it might spread, and thus overcompensating with how much I need to actually use. Like just tonight when I made a dish using beef, noodles, rice, and assorted vegetables, and while it came out well enough, practically all I could taste was the teriyaki sauce I added to it.
