hi everyone
i had to delete my twitter recently because i was applying for jobs (me and
demonicdesigns ran into some financial troubles) and the company i applied for was trying to find my twitter through my email address.
i deleted my twitter very hastily without any notice and i apologize for that- i wasnt aware jobs were able to look you up through your email address. i am going to recreate my twitter soon using a different email.
someone won a free raffle from me a few months ago, and i owe them an art piece. i believe i remember who this person was but if it was you (the reader of this journal) and i contacted the wrong person, let me know.
my job is going to lay me off at the end of this month (december 2021) so im going to take the oppurtunity to try and make my commissions a full-time job. many of my YCHs still have open slots, and i am open for commissions (for more details go here: https://cryptidcat.carrd.co/ ).

OMG nightmare scenario... fwiw, i think you can go into the settings and disable the 'let people find me by email/phone' feature for next time! good luck with the job hunt btw 👍

thanks for the advice! i dont think i will be looking for a job for a while, since im kind of tired of working for nothing- im going to work on my portfolio and commissions again : )

jesus, i'm sorry to hear that. all that struggle and then a punch in the face :( that's gross that they were looking for you via email.

yeah lol, it was a really shitty place to work too. i quit 4 days before my contract would officially lay me off because the staff there were outright abusive, and one guy was pretty sexist and homophobic. i wrote them an email explaining the harassment i experienced and its been 5 days with no response- not even a quick apology. lol! this corporation was straight up evil
