no thats not a sexy joke... Christmas this year is far from good.
this morning i got a nice lovely smack to the face. in the form of fmy ill has slowly been hemmoriging more and more debt... i found the discrepancies... 1: for some reason my due date is thursday despite having paide an extra day to move it to friday after my first week. 2: i have been charged for linen service 5 times despite only being here 4 weeks and further only hctually having gotten linen service 1 time (i change my bed every 2-3 weeks usually... im a clean sleeper basically) and 3: my actual weekly rent was about $3.50 more than i was paying (ie they gave me the wrong price) because tax... my bill claims im 49.88 behind, when actually i SHOULD be at most 19.87 behind factoring in the missed taxes. me and the manager are supposed to talk monday morning about rectifying whatever went wrong... and now that i found it i'll be able to straighten that out for the future... but for now i am sitting around 50 dollars short for next week, especially since i just lost more or less 2 hours of work tonight because all 4 other closers besides me and my manager called off tonight
i also have absolutely no family with the death of my mother a few months ago, as the rest of my so called 'family' are slime of the lowest order... so i will be more or less alone for the season of family, just like i was for thanksgiving, but more depressing... and im still barely holding anything together because everything is falling down around me...
i had a promising job lined up at my local BMV, but right after i submitted my final background check (which is fucking clean as diamond) i got an email saying "we're sorry but we have decided to hire another applicant for this position, we wish you the best of luck with your job search." for fucks sake i met with the hiring manager 2 separate times in person to try and get this job and some other schmuck saunters in and steals it out from under me... they had NO applicants when i applied... which means the person who stole my job came after me.
i have made 0 headway with my case manager on getting more affordable or better housing, in fact when i went in to a housing authority for a meeting, right at the beginning of the appointment the woman said "look dear, i'll be honest... looking at you and your paperwork, we're going to just be denying you... so this is going to be an hour and half of your time wasted..."
