Merry Christmas to all! We've opened presents and are now relaxing and enjoying each other's company. My daughter is playing Minecraft which she was very excited to get. I'm sure I'll get to play the games I got at some point! LOL!
I hope each and every one of you can find some morsel of joy that enflames your heart this most Blessed of Days. We have all received a great gift whether we know it or not.

No one felt like cooking today (or rather, no one felt like cleaning up after cooking), so we're borrowing the time-honored Jewish tradition of going out for Chinese later. The restaurant in question must be popular for that occasion; we only got the very last possible reservation.
I say supposed to be more relaxed, as the family is in need of a proper Christmas miracle. My grandmother had a heart attack that's landed her in the hospital. Whatever happened is so urgent, they scheduled an immediate surgical intervention for today. I don't particularly care for her, but it's got my mom all tied up in knots. A lot of loose ends in their relationship, I imagine.
And can you believe WPIX committed such sacrilege as to run ads in their Yule Log livestream? The nerve of some people.
