Happy New Year!! Life Update

Happy New Year to you all!! I hope that you are doing well and that your celebrations have been pleasant. During these days of festivities I have taken a little break from my commissions, but on January 7 I'll continue with my pending work
I wanted to take the opportunity on this journal to give you a brief update on my life. As you may have noticed, last 2020 I did not do any journal updating on any news about me or my work; The reality was that these two last years were quite hard for me, as many surely must have too, I suffered periods of depression that became even more exhausted due to the fact that my chronic back pain was increasing, the pandemic and quarantine only worsened a little more and at the end of 2020 my mother had a carcinoma on her face which fortunately was removed in time, but it cost her a part of her nose. Due to these and other personal circumstances, the environment in our home became much more difficult and my mental health was deteriorating more and more. At that time I did not have the strength to explain what was happening and therefore I apologize for my "disappearance".
2021, although it was also a very exhausting year, things started to go better for me in different aspects; my chronic pain continues, but I'm constantly on medication for this reason and I was able to invest in a much better chair to be able to work more comfortably, but there are times when I cannot even sit down to draw and that is why my work rate is so slow, I don't want my pieces to lose quality either, on the contrary, I always want to offer you a little more. Although, I still have episodes of apathy with traits of depression, I try to stay active, I ended up daring to be more indulgent with myself and from time to time reward myself by drawing for me or for my friends, who I appreciate their presence during all these dark times.
In the past I mentioned that my best friend and I made a personal account, goetia. , to upload some drawings and details of our OCs, nothing too complicated because the reality is that we do it for mere entertainment, our own enjoyment and personal confort.
To my clients, I really want to thank you for all your patience, trust and support, I'm sorry for the delays in your commissions, but I'll always seek to reward you because I am honored that you consider me to work with
