"Artemis?" Ajua called.

"Eh?" he mused, startled by the sound of his sister's voice.

She looked at him with piteous eyes and an empathetic heart. She knew how her brother dreamed of being a father and how much he wanted to find love, as she had. But, he feared that such a life was beyond him, far out of his reach. Quietly, she reached for him and held him, tightly. Sadly, he wrapped his arms her and rested his head on her shoulder.

"You have a good wife, little brother." she whispered. "She has a bigger heart than you realize."

"...I have a hard time believing that." he said, his voice barely audible.

"You won't have to believe it, because one day, you will see it. When that day comes, her generous heart will be a light in the darkness."
