Creating Fan Art?
I have doubt about making fanart.
The fanart I made for "The Bad Guys" in my opinion did not do so well.
It has the same amount of views as my "Day on the Beach" yet it has half the favorites.
Is it the pose? Is it the Characters? Or should I just stay away from making fan art and stay with only making commissions.
I just really don't want to screw things up and make art that people don't like because I make art for people to enjoy,
and if people don't enjoy the art then I don't want to make it.
Do you guys think I'm over reacting, what do you think?
I would really appreciate hearing your feedback on this.
Thank you everyone! I hope you have a nice day!

The artist is you, the others adapt to your content, that is, if you like the fan art, keep creating it, don't worry about the comments or the number of favorites, that's something you can't control
I hope it helps you 😁
Maybe the favourites/views ratio for TheBadGuys fanart will increase when the movie comes out (apparently in USA theaters on April 22).
But I wouldn't torture yourself about fav/view ratios:
Good Boy seems to be doing better now at least in terms of views.
Good Boy: now 485 views
Day on the Beach: now 362 views
So maybe some people are looking at Good Boy a couple of times a month?
Also, only one piece in your fanart folder,
potentially add https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28232362/ "Twilight Sparkle" to your fanart folder?
If what you want is for somebody to REALLY appreciate you, then just... make fanart for somebody actually in the fandom. With fanart of already famous IPs you're either providing something that people can already get by the thousands or serving an audience that doesn't exist, depending on just how popular it is. In this specific case I have no clue what 'The Bad Guys' is and neither do I think a lot of people, so it ends up as the latter.
