What do you like about my artwork? What do you dislike about it?
I get curious sometimes and it's a new year so I'm looking for areas to improve on in my art...so let me also know
if there are specific areas I can improve in as well. Trying to do more studies this year, because that's really dropped
off for me.

Very few artists would be able to do stuff like this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41197346/ - and make it look like actual transparent plastic or rubber
it takes a keen mind t o work that kind of geometry into one's art - and you're one of the few who can do so very well
as for areas to improve? Hmmm... perhaps try challenging yourself with different textures? When you draw scalies or furries ou usually always do the skin in pretty much the same way. I think that's one area you could try to something new in
I enjoy anatomy so I'm glad it comes through. I've seen a few other comments about texture, so I will definitely have to try focusing on that a bit in this next year
I'm always iffy on extreme fetishes and prefer vanilla-ish stuff but that likely has nothing to do with your question.
Your work in my opinion doesn't have any flaws nor do I think I could offer any advice on how to improve. I'll just state the obvious and say that practice is always the best way to improve so ... I guess just never stop drawing. :)
I would say you can improve with textures. You draw a lot of characters with the same texture, whether they have scales skin or fur. I think it'd be nice to see more bumpy textures with scales or fluffy ones with fur.
I really like how you do Expressions, the genitalia the and all your poses are amazing (Honestly love how you draw Dongs and Vaginas!) . You also draw simple but nice backgrounds don't think i've seen you do a high detailed background yet not to the extent you do characters. But backgrounds are a pain xD
You really nail the wet and leathery parts, Sometimes i think you add to much highlights sometimes to the point it makes area look wet/leathery when they shouldn't be in theory or do to much hard highlights. Where fur would be so in theory it would be a soft lighting as the lighting gets dissipated into the fur due to all the furry stuff!
On that note i think do anything with Scales or hard-skin etc really amazing. Your so good at doing dragons. You also nail short furred stuff! I would love to see more furry fur lines like proper fluff to show they are fluffy and made of fur as i think you don't do that enough. Like this old image you did shows alot of fur on the belly :3 https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21923602/
She looks so fluffy and you kind of don't do fur like that anymore.
I think that's about it. Hopefully i didn't upset you or anything >w< I always feel bad juding Artists work but im just sharing my thoughts. Not matter what i LOVE you artwork everytime you post a piece it's just so good.
And apparently I need to work on texture, so doing a fluffy girl would be a good way to practice that~
Thanks!
It's on some images the highlights too abit off and such! im glad to help and you saw what i meant :3
Ooo! Can't wait to see that fluffy girl! and it would be great practice!
No worries, I really like your art though, and someday i'll hopefully get something from you xd <3
I’m always happy to see more of your art!
Anyway, I think you utilize too much hard contrast. There's such stark contrast in most of your images, as if it is harshly lit from a single direction. Usually it's not a matter of going too dark, but having the division so hard that the lighting looks very artificial. Sometimes this is appropriate to the image, but it isn't always. On the other hand, your highlights are way too high and (as another poster stated) it often makes everything look wet or polished when they shouldn't.
It can be easy to overdo it when trying to keep the image from looking flat, but you'd be amazed at how the human eye can pick out soft, subtle hue changes. But...if all this is just a look you're aiming for, then no need to change a thing.
Now if I go into more detail. The attention to the little details is always there, whether it's a commission or in the comics. For example the reflections on the bodies and objects. The way you draw the fluids and transparent textures hit the spot for me, both messy and detailed, -it flows and drips without going into excess- and I find it always a pleasure to look at. Moreover, if it's something that doesn't necessarily please everyone, you often offer alternatives to your pieces ! :)
About the characters, I find their expressions always very detailed. You have a way of detailing the eyes, the muscles of the face and give a whole range of expressions that I love. (Not to mention the makeup sometimes, with has the same attention as for the fluids, a way of making it messy without being in the excess!) And obviously, we will all agree that the way you draw genitals are awesome.
Finally, whether it's in comic or in commission, you approach varied subjects, not repetitive and we are always welcomed by the surprise!
Now, if there are specific areas you can improve in as well ? As it has already been mentioned, I also find that the texture of your character is often the same/too smooth and maybe it would be interesting to see how to texturize more certain species? (Whether it's fur or scales.) However, I don't know if that would necessarily be better! As I said before, I think there is already a certain level of detail in your productions and maybe it would be too much?
But for example the tails of the furry/horse characters often have much more texture than the rest of their bodies.
Maybe a side by side comparison with same subjects in the future would be interesting?
Looking forward for your future project ! :)
Yeah, it seems like texture is a thing I should learn more about and integrate into my pieces.
Dislike wise, the only thing I can think of is how so many characters have humanoid cocks. If its your preference thats one thing, but Its kind bland and boring aspect for otherwise good art. This is mainly a personal taste thing though, so like I said, if its your preference dont change it.
Hm, yeah I guess I tend to draw humanoid cocks because I think more people like that (not sure if that's true though, lol). I don't really
have a preference as long the cock is fairly large.
Thanks for the feedback
As far as the cocks go, I wish I could answer that question. Maybe Im just picky.
Thanks~
After really getting into your posted artwork, the thing that I see needs working on is completed artwork. You post a lot of doodles, but not a lot of refined art. I'm wondering if you would benefit from taking the time to really develop more pieces. They don't have to be lewd, or of furry art, or even characters in general, but finding something that grabs you and pushing yourself to take it to a finished quality will help you a)hopefully find a spark of inspiration and b) show you where you need to do more studies. Good luck!
I also like how you do a mix of quite normal stuff, and also really 'out there' stuff. Plus, plenty of horses and big sizes!
Outside of that you have a really good handle on setting scenes, and you make characters all look very soft and inviting.
Areas of improvement, I don't have a lot of critiques here but I wouldn't mind seeing more exaggerated angles with some more wild forshortening. Also nothing against your text work in your comics but it's pretty clinical, I wouldn't mind seeing some experimentation there. Clinical is perfectly serviceable but maybe try some hand written text or more unusual formatting, if that makes any sense
Anyway love your work!
Thanks for the input~
Even though Deathclaw Troubles has kinks in it I normally don't seek out, I can't get over how beautifiul and sexy the shenanigans in it are. It's just so pleasing to look at and the fifth page is one of my all-time-favorite works of art.
I'm not sure what you can do to improve, but the person that mentioned trying new angles might be onto something. You'd be able to explore perspective and maybe have some fun with it. I also think you might have fun exploring lighting and backscatter of colors and stuff. It can lead to really interesting scenes. You are very good at setting scenes already, so it would only add to it. I do really like your shading and how efficient it is. It would be interesting to see you keep the efficient beauty of your shading while adding just a touch of colored light or something like that. Your use of muted vs bright colors tells me you have very deep artistic intuition already.
I've been hoping to commission you someday because your art would go very well with my stories and you're in my top 3 favorite artists. Thank you for all the work you've put into your art over the years. I know that being an artist isn't easy firsthand.
