Fucking damn it all...first month of the year hasn't even passed and now tradgedy has struck my own family.

Over a week ago, my dad's sister was hospitalized with pneumonia, and it had gotten bad enough that she had to be intubated. That was...honestly the first sign that had me bracing for the worst. Coming to today, her heart stopped in the middle of the night, and even though they managed to start it again after that, I suppose it happened again...and the plug was pulled. She survived cancer as I recall, but was done in by this...fuck. Apparently she was beginning to deteriorate regardless if the state of her house was anything to go by. My folks had been stopping by to take care of it for the past couple weeks...and it was a mess.

Already gotten my anger out...I'll be okay. She was a fun woman to be around, that's for sure. Always full of energy socially. This hits me especially hard because I actually stayed at her house when I was a lot younger. Never enjoyed the experience at the house itself, but at the very least, it was still fun.
