Unemployment is reported on the 1099-G. I got an email from Wisconsin's Department of Revenue last week about it (I was unemployed until September), but it might depend on the settings you had for your account on the department site. If you've been getting statements and notifications from the website I would probably expect it to email you once the form's ready, though.

I'm pretty sure I have although I haven't gotten them in a while. The last one was when my unemployment had exhausted, and I would be 'notified' if I was eligible for extended benefits, which my senator/governor had said 'It's what's causing people to not go back to work since we're paying them to stay home' which is not true, screwing me over. Cutting the extra money from the American Rescue Plan made no appreciable difference, neither did severing extended benefits earlier than other states.

Republicans just like to sit on their piles of money and blame you for not doing as well.

If it's like Oklahoma, I secondly confirm the 1099-G. Also, you have an option when receiving it here to have taxes taken out ahead. If you did so, then you'll have a 0 balance due in. If not, expect to pay a portion back. They did delay a bit and weren't quite ready early on. I recall receiving it in February.

With this past year and so many making use of the program due to situations, I'd wager March is a safer bet.

Anyway I found it on the website, and it seems you just need the amounts paid, the form is not necessary.

I've been putting it off a little (as opposed to my usual doing it before they're even processing returns) because I want to hopefully have a job in the event I owe. I don't know but I usually have to pay a small amount for how I do it due to my business, but I'm hoping I get some income soon so I can take care of some things.

Most years I get a nice refund, but this past year all I had for income was unemployment, and I did take taxes out as they went so I shouldn't owe but there will still be a bill for the service.

It will be a 1099G. As to how it is delivered that is up to each state. Several are trying to cut the paper and mail so want you to utilize a website. If you have an account with login information I would check there first. Then I'd wait until the end of the month for a paper copy if no electronic one. Lastly I would sit on the phone waiting for a real person if the first two fail.

It's form 1099G. It arrives in the mail. The deadline was the 31st and the government waits until the last minute, so that's probably the day they'll start getting mailed. It is taxable. It is not eligible for qbi. It goes on the other income line of your 1040 from sch 1. Let me know if you need help.

I have it now. I think I have what I need since unemployment was all I received last year, so we'll see. I will probably try to do it within the next week.
