It is with overwhelming sadness that I tell you my mother, Sherry Light, passed away Thursday evening (January 27) after a valiant four months long battle with the after effects of Covid.
It has often been said that a person lives on in the hearts and memories of all of those that knew and loved them. If that is any true measure then my mom is surely still more alive today than most. Her warm welcoming spirit touched and enriched the lives of so many over the years that it is impossible to overstate her impact on the all of those that she loved.

You and your family have our deepest sympathies and condolences. I know how much your family has suffered over the past several months. It's never easy to lose someone you love; and it's trite to say "she's no longer suffering." I wish you peace and comfort.

Having lost my own mother to cancer you have my utmost condolences and sympathies in this time of loss.

After a month PACKED with funerals, I was hoping this would be the last for a good long while, but this bug is still doing a lot of damage. Whatever you need, we're here... if you need to take time off, do it.
A friend to talk to? You have hundreds.
Might have seemed a small thing to you at the time, but being able to watch and learn from the way you draw and color meant a lot to me. I'm sure there's plenty more folks here your friendship means even more to.
Take solace in knowing you did what you could and knowing she's no longer in pain.
Also, nobody is above needing help. If there's something your friends and fans can do for you, PLEASE ask. It would be counted an honor.
