It's slightly odd, but you're not the only one that uses faves this way. I've seen it a few times over the years.

I wish it (the faves gallery) had an option similar to how you can organise your own uploads into different folders, I'm not quite OCD but I do enjoy having things be semi-organised.

That would be nice. DA has that feature, I wish more art sites did too.

Mostly people who want to promote artists put the ordered works as submissions to the gallery. This is at least what I observed. I think its even better way to promote the artists, since submissions appear in watchers notifications, while favs do not, theyre less visible. And I think you should fav whatever you like! Btw as an artist I thank you for promoting me for free, its very cute :*** (although Im closing commissions and leaving FA ;)). I'm happy you feel better, this covid is a damn thing.
