Thoughts on Profiles With Default Icons?

How do you feel about profiles that watch you/fave your pieces, but lack an icon or any uploaded work?
Quite a few of these profiles have followed me, and while I have nothing against them (some people do just like to lurk, after all), I always get the little voice in the back of my head telling me that I've been followed by a bot or something.
Again, nothing against profiles that lack an icon or uploads, I'm simply curious to hear how other peeps who've been followed by such profiles feel.

I suppose I'm just a tad paranoid due to how big an issue bot/AI accounts are becoming online. Granted, they've always been around, but it feels like they've skyrocketed in recent years. Starting to get very John Carpenter's 'The Thing' up in here.
Lurkers are another thing entirely, though. I have no probs with those peeps watching.
