The Tentative Future (possibly full time artist?)

Commissions are currently closed.
Journal time! Got some news here about a potential future with me and my art
So some of you that know me know that I work full time active duty US Air Force. Working 45+ hrs a week, going to and from work while it's still dark out tends to leave you a bit too drained to draw sometimes. This is the main reason why comms and comic pages are taking so long.
However, just today, I submitted my application to separate active duty and go into the reserves. If selected this could mean within less of a years time, I could potentially go full time freelancing artist. This would mean a quicker turn-around time for art and also a comic page uploaded at least twice a month.
This would also mean that I would possibly have to change the way I do commissions and also raise my prices a bit since that's going to be my main means of supporting myself. For one I would open up a Patreon and a Kofi. If my application goes through I shall open and start taking patron commissions! And if people want something quicker, one of the things I'd like to do is a bi-monthly streaming session on Picarto where patrons and Kofi supporters get a sketch of one character plus Discord benefits! (more details on how it will all work later)
But as stated before, I would try to release a page of Whenever They Catch You at least twice a month now instead of like 3-4 times a year. Patrons would get to see a new page a week early!
Some of might have seen a personal website link put up in the contact info of my FA page. Just know that it's still under construction at the moment so there's not a lot there. But it's where I'm going to list all my commission info, comic page archive, other artworks and links along with possibly merch in the future! (like stickers and pins)
Guys, I'm not gonna lie... I am like SUPER stoked for this if this happens!
All this being said, my application could still be denied, and I'd have to wait another two years before I could make this all a reality. If it does, just know that I'm still going to keep drawing and try to do commissions for people. Things will jsut take as long as they're going now.
I should know the answer in 4-6 weeks (maybe sooner) so when I find out, I'll announce it here as well.

However I suggest just having Ko-Fi due to you can do commissions, have monthly membership, virtual shop, the money goes directly to you, one-time donation, fees only in virtual shop or commissions (6% each sell or comm) but with the $6/mon Gold subscription, the fees subtracts to zero. :3
But I have being researching about Ko-Fi and Patreon, and people have being saying their experience, where Ko-Fi is a good start for novice freelance artists, and Patreon can be hard to meet the goals unless you're full committed on making it a bussiness.
I know you'll do awesome at it.
