With all the sanctions against his cronies he’s already losing his base of support and soldiers are deserting by the platoon.

I am truly devastated and saddened by what is happening. I work with several Russian and some Ukrainian artists. They are amazing and talented people. I will not be influenced by these politics. I truly feel sad and sorry for them. This is wrong and this is brutal what is happening. This is an atrocity. Putin is a mad man.

I still do what I can to try help friends and artists I am working with. Doing everything I can to help them. However I fear the swift sanctions incoming soon will cut us off. Then 30 days later corresponding banks will be blocked from what I heard here in Canada. Artists already fear they will not survive this. They will not have any way to keep earning their living. Some of them still have mortgages and loans to pay. They will be ruined. It hurts to watch this happening.

I am unsure if cutting Russia off financially will work. I think Putin has money saved in unregulated offshore companies. It wouldn't surprise me if he did. He would expect something like this. Sanctions. So naturally to counter that is hoard funding in offshore companies. That will last for some time, depending how big that offshore reserve is. If he has one.

As far as I know NATO cannot get involved because Ukraine is not a part of the alliance, yet. Countries are only sending aid. Such as food, money, weapons, equipment, fuel, and so on. Ukraine is forced to fight on its own with the assistance they are getting so far.

We indeed need to be very careful with how we proceed from here. This is a very difficult situation to navigate. We want to help, but can't. Due to the risk of global disaster. It is frightening to think about that. No one wants this. Only Putin does.

There are rumors of Russian military or government officials planning a coup against Putin. I don't have any particular sources to prove this is true, but if there's an uprising or a coup coming to plan, it'd better be happening soon. Right now, if NATO or any countries outside of Ukraine were to get fully involved, it's curtains for humanity.
