In my opinion, there is no such thing as "good war." If nations can't settle their disagreements through diplomacy, sometimes problems can be solved by simply doing absolutely nothing.

Of course war is horror but even such bad man as Putin tried to avoid it 8 years. Yes, he sent military instructors and weapons to insurgents, but Truman and Nixon were forced to do the same and similarly had no other choice to protect Korean and Vietnamese people from their bloodthirsty governments.

It is true that there is no "good war." Sometimes it takes hundreds - thousands of years to settle disagreements though, it does not make sense to resort to arms. War is a deed of limitless vandalism which would produce nothing. Once it broke out, it is always common citizens who see the tragedy of it.

But as Putin has just demonstrated, it only takes one side to start a war.

It may not be meaningful a lot here to discuss to see whether Putin is good, or bad. Since the Egyptian-Hittite Peace Treaty was concluded in around 1274BC, the world has formed approximately 1,850 of treaties, almost of which validity lasted, at most, for a couple of years in average.

The leaders of the world should know how fragile the peace is. I would like to tell them to use their brains more, before they used ammunitions.

I cannot find a definite answer to your question on the relationship between Korea and Japan though, I think it was one of the reasons that Japan did not make the proper postwar process to Korea. And it may be because Korea has performed too much of anti-Japan education. Seeing Korea-Japan, and Russia-Ukraine or Poland, we see that they are all neighbours. Having the similar root of culture and language, we sometimes cannot condone a small difference of the neighbour.

There may be thousands of opinions. Some days ago, I had a chance to see a merchant from an Islamic country. His opinion sound interesting. "The United Nation was found based upon the conception which was favourable for the Free Europe and the US." I wonder whether it is right, or wrong, the world may need to form a new frame, or organisation.
