Well, I uploaded part one of a story I've been writing, partly as therapy, and partly because I had inspiration to do so. That was several chapters, but they weren't very long. The second part is coming along nicely, and while the first was ~10000 words, I'm a few more chapters in and we're quickly approaching 40000 words. Officially, that's short story territory for the sci-fi genre. But I don't think I'm even halfway there. I already know the second natural stopping point to create a part two document to upload, and I will probably do that over the next few days. Writing is a strike while the iron's hot sort of process. I'm hoping that I will get more comments off these. Are they good, are they disturbing, are they boring? It's hard to improve things if people download the stories but never comment.
