Update: working on new novella (origin story for Mirabili...

Henlo little beans,
I'm currently working on a novella that will explore the origins of Mirabilis and some of the key moments from his long life. I was hit with an inspiration particle whilst on for a walk, and I'm hoping that this will be an interesting and unique read for anyone, not just people interested in Mirabilis's background. The story will be based around 12 chapters, each with a particular theme (and name) that links a frame story with Mira's background, before culminating in the (for him) present.
Unlike my previous novellas, I plan to finish this one in its entirety before I publish any chapters. I am doing this because of extensive rewrites I was forced to do on other stories, which included retconning, which isn't ideal when you have already published chapters. So, I'm hoping that this will take a few months to write, then I can start posting :)
What else am I up to? Anyone following me on Twitter may have spotted me posting a very rough, almost dragon-looking, 3D model. This is an in-progress model of Mirabilis that I'm making whilst learning Blender. I'm hoping to use Blender to explore some ideas that I have had for art. So far, it feels quite intuitive, and I find it far easier to make what's in my head when compared with 2D art, which I'm rubbish at!

I felt similarly when I was working on my interactive fiction game. It took the better part of two years, and I didn't release it until I was "done." Granted, I still changed it after that. XD
Glad you found a little spark! And here's hoping your muse helps you though this.
