Spring and changes!

Hello to all who read these! Hoping all is well with you. Things for me have changed quite a bit with myself moving from where I was in the mountains before I was able to finish up my flying lessons. I've about 35 hours into flying and working to get settled here in the new place with income before I start spending ~$200/hour on finishing up the training. Though from the last flight I had, where I was able to take my dad up, both the instructor and my dad (he used to fly) said they were really impressed with my flying. The instructor was new, but he said he was really amazed at the skills I was showing at 35 hours. I guess a lot of that comes with being really careful and going over things mentally a lot. With flying, you never want to fall behind on things, the stress that comes with it is just not fun at all... and I've been there, I ne'er want to get back there again.
So things have changed for me and now I'm in a local where the temps are routinely warmer, though hopefully not the 105F+ that we saw a lot of last summer in the mountains, coupled with smoke that brought visibility down to just a few miles. It was quite miserable living in those conditions without A/C, but that's a thing of the past. Now it is likely to be less extreme (no more -20F - 105F spread) but likely 30-95, though that comes with a lot more humidity as well. So far things are going well though.
I'm still looking for locking down some employment for something where there will be a lot of growth in the future and I'm presently looking at working the power company, with hopes of working at the nuclear plant fairly close by, or something like Space X as a technician. Both would likely require me to move again, but where I am now is pretty temporary, so that's fine. Still trying to figure out which one would be the best option. The power company would likely be in the same state or likely within a few hundred miles while Space X would likely be a move to FL or TX. In all of this though, my moral is high as I look forward to the future and happy to be where I am.
For all that is well for me though, I've some friends that are falling on harder times. Though all the lockdowns, international travel requirements, bad organization at cons and the present conflict by Russia in Ukraine, a close friend in Romania is having a hard time trying to recover the money lost at the cons as well as issues with Paypal going 'oops we lost your money, lol'. Apparently it's an issue with Paypal in Romania that is affecting multiple users and Paypal is aware of it, but presently not sure on when it will be resolved... so she has money from some commissions that is just in limbo and really hurting her present position. She's trying to move into a van and finish it up to head to Greece. So, if you're looking for an awesome artist to work with, she's one I've worked with a lot for a lot of my commissions, please check out some of her latest ~ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47048010/ ~
I wish everyone well physically, emotionally and spiritually. Always willing and open for chats, if anyone is as well~
