Don’t Count Him Out Yet

Dineegla's Arctic Journal
MW now has a feeding tube into his stomach and will be getting a proper “peg” tube soon. It bypasses the esophagus and lets his lungs heal from Aspiration Pneumonia.
He’s is much better spirits and we agreed he needs to fight this!
I am working with our Social Worker, filling out forms and hopefully he will go to a rehab center now before coming home (more round the clock care!)
He has his iPad and games to keep him busy, and of course, he’s charmed all the nurses with his Canadian Humor!
In general he’s not out of the woods yet. But we are working hard for his recovery. Prayers, please, for both of us, but especially him.
If we cannot secure the proper papers for a rehab stay, I will run a “GO FUND ME” page. Stay tuned.
