Well, it is to me, and I want to share it with you. I’m going to be 71 years old!!
Someone asked me what I wanted for my birthday. Well, maybe some happiness. That would go real good right now. Also, something I love is when friends in the furry fandom tell me HAPPY BIRTHDAY either on FURAFFINITY.NET, or Twitter, or Telegram.
Last year at Midwest Fur Fest, I hosted a gray muzzle greet and meet. I wanted to see with a show of hands as I went through everyone’s ages! It was fun. I did 60 and above, and I got quite a few hands raised. I said 70 and above, and I was the ONLY ONE to raise my hand. Now that was scary. Every time I think of it, my eyes get misty.
The other thing I always wanted was someone to do me a picture for my birthday. I would love to afford commissioning someone, but the only money I get now is from SSI. Money is very tight right now for me, and so it will be a birthday dinner celebrated with close friends sans birthday gifts. These are the friends who have done so much for me to keep me sane.
I still need to raise a little money for MFF. I can’t rent a hotel room ($$$}, but since I live very close, I’m able to go home at the end of the night. If you would like to help I would really appreciate it. I have KO-Fi. And Zelle. PayPal has managed to screw up my account AGAIN and I have been on the phone with them for about six days. If you donate and it tells you I’m not receiving money right now, get back to me with a picture from PayPal that says that, so I can go harass the supervisors on PayPal again

Thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes. You always have a soft spot in my heart.
I'm so sorry you've been going through such hardships. We need to take care of and cherish the old guard of the fandom. You were the guys who were fighting for us on two fronts, both for our interests and our sexuality.
I hope your birthday is full of love and joy. And thanks for still being here with us.
