Riiiight? I understand a few people whom you've had a bad interaction with...But then there are the people whom you've never even interacted with and you get pre-emptively blocked. Never know WHY but it happens. Like...was there a REASON? I've been blocked for simply liking a pic.

Its been happening for many many years. Like 10 years ago, i had a commission done and the artist immediately blocked me roght afterwards for reasons unknown. It wasn't even a nsfw peice either. Eh, it is what it is.

Low trust in new users, fetish intolerance, believing every note they receive, and sometimes they do it just to be a jerk. Basically society :3

thing is, it didn't happen to me, but to a friend. i'm just displaying my anger to the problem as a whole

Thank you for addressing it, this has happened to me well over 3 times now. Hope that your friend can find friendlier groups.

The sad thing is you are completely right. Most people will believe notes without actually doing their own research on said people who they block or even more so try to get the other side of the story in some cases. One sided arguments that create a problem that nothing gets resolved and blocks happen due to misunderstandings.

I really just say this because I WAS blocked by a couple of people whom I never encountered or engaged with but they were friends with a pal of mine. They got to the bottom of it and finally the blocker talked it out with me and they came to realize what they heard was something secondhand that had been embellished but they never would have known and we never would have been friends if he did not talk to me after the fact.

But that's terrifying, I've been sent notes about users before too, sometimes they make brand new accounts just to spread false info about other people after they get banned. It's creepy.
