Well, I didn't really celebrate my b-day about a month back, either. Nor the 15 year anniversary of slaving away in retail. At least my name's glued to the wall to represent that I'm a long term slave to the company store.
First off I'm out right floored that they actually give any paid time off in any form vacation or sick leave.
Now what's the problem that you need sick leave?
The worst of it's over. Now, time to just isolate for a few. I'm even feeling awake enough to turn on the game PC and see if I can motivate towards learning a little more of this UE5 engine...maybe. Honestly...I've had worse then this as a kid.
You just got a two week vacation.
And.
Now that you have gotten it you are more resistant to it in the future. You are less likely to get it and if you do the affects should be lessened.
