Counting down to AC...the usual apprehension prior to the first con attendance of the year.

Grinding thru pages of comics out of a single-minded determination to get them to a point where I can use them to formally introduce some new OC's to my roster of characters, despite painfully slow output..

One more week of vacation the week after next...followed by one more the week of AC. Stuff to do, stuff to dooooo...

That's fantastic. Yeah, I'm anxious about Anthrocon, too. I put all this effort into this, so I can only pray it does it does well and I hope yours does well, too.

Been getting by. Tired a lot from work and commuting, but uploading stuff here when I have the energy to write something to go with.

I've been alright overall, but just stressed a lot at work. I'm not at all happy in my job and need a change but don't know what else in the company I could do that isn't blue collar grunt work. And the real estate market is still something out of a Stephen King novel with nothing available that matches what I'm looking for that is affordable and isn't a total dump. On the plus side summer is here, so it won't be too much longer before I can get back to the beach!

Thanks! Today I have a meeting with my...manager? I don't know what his title is (I have something like 8 people I consider a supervisor, so somebody along the line must be the manager). Anyway, we're going to talk about a development plan, or something like that, basically looking into my work history and experience to see if there's a job at the company I would be well suited for, and which would be well suited for me. Better pay would be nice, sure, but at this point I'm more concerned with being happy at my job instead of rolling into the parking lot every day and thinking, "Awwww, crap."

Money’s been tighter than ever to get any more commissions done of my girls (which, I don’t know if you’ve seen, but I have a fourth now), but soon as I can find a way to loosen it, there will be more. I’m still trying to relearn how to draw on my end, too (not progressing as well as I want due to time restraints).

As for myself, I've been crazy busy too, what with my dad going demented and all, but with him out of the house and in a care home now, I'm finally free as well and it's doing me a world of good; I'm actually cleaning the place again now that it's finally not a useless endeavor anymore and I got some nice plants again to spruce up the place, and thanks to the help of a number of amazing people here, so much of all the stuff that had, and has, to be arranged has been taken care of so I'm not so crazy busy anymore and under constant stress, so things are looking up! >^_^<

When my mom left and went to live on her own, she told me she finally felt free, and I now know exactly how she feels; it sounds a bit cliche and not really nice to say, but I've really quite blossomed up since my father went out of the picture, hee!
