Would you use Boosty?
Hello. As you probably know, Paypal left Russia a while ago. I wasn't trying to find alternatives since I was busy. But now I'll have a sort of free month so it would be nice to take some commissions.
Would any of you use Boosty (sort of a Russian Patreon, but there is also a way to make single payments, if I'm not mistaken) to take a commission from me. I've heard that it is used nowadays by Russian artists as an alternative, so, if at least someone wouldn't mind, it would be worth it to try and register a profile there.

Hey! Good to hear from you! A lot of people are using it and even though I dislike registering for that kind of stuff, I am strongly considering it.

That is the thing behind the fact I still think should I do it or not. My account is not big and I did not have many commissions in the first place, but at least my potencial client did not have to do any additional work besides describing me what they want. I feel like if I suggest paying through the system they don't know and has to register in would scare them off and since I am not that big it would be easier to just find another artist. Totally understandable. That's why I wanted to hear an opinion of someone who might want to get a commission, would they be willing to do it.

I understand. It's a really tough spot for this situation. I am very much considering it but I need to do a bit more research on it as I have some inquiries on it. I would be more than happy to make a journal and try and send some interest your way because your art is very good and I think a lot of people will like it.
