lol i just had someone like that show up....of course they're hiding faves publicly so no one can see they fave my icky feral art. but i think that's pretty common. when i was younger i vehemently yelled about stuff i did in private all the time. it's all about posturing tbh.

I think that change should be embraced.....even if someone did decide to go the opposite way with it. As someone who used to be apart of the anti-feral / callout / whatever crowd one of the things that I struggled with a lot (and even now) was the lack of empathy towards people who are still trying to figure themselves out and change, because that does involve a lot of back / forth and hard feelings. If someone says they aren't okay with feral now and decided that it actually wasn't for them, I think that's okay.

Of course there is a huge difference between simply changing your mind and actively calling for harm and harassment for people or things you don't like. Which is what I'm assuming these people did. Usually when I see people like this, especially people who are struggling on where they stand with these things I try to think about my own experiences with it. The culture on either "side" makes the whole thing incredibly difficult to navigate.

I'm rambling and I'm not even sure waht about * . * TDLR I just wish people could block and move on when they see stuff they don't like. You can not like someone / something but it shouldn't lead to real harassment and hurt of people. The world is so horrible without this garbage added on already

If it was as simple as someone unsure of if its ok or not and keeping their likes secret, that is sympathetic. But to be someone who calls for the hurt and harasment of those who are the same as them, they lose my understanding. Its a game of just sadism then, since it isn't about morals like they claim. They just want to hurt other people for whatever gain it gives them. Attention, excitement, security, whatever they want from it. All I could say is I hope karma is gentle on them in the end ROFL

That's true. Its sad to see it got to this point, but it looks there's a breaking point where even non-ferals are seeing the foolishness of the drama. Its getting more hateful, but its less and less who is part of the minority of haters.

It's best to just keep away from people like that. I find it more productive to focus on interacting with more open-minded and accepting people.
