What Made Me A Hopeless Romantic.

If you guys know me, then you should know that I'm a sucker for romance. But where it CAME FROM; that's the question. And the answer is simple.
Batman Returns.
I've been a Batman fan since I left the womb and it was one of the main inspirations for both my writing and my desire to act. But "Batman Returns" introduced my mind to hopeless romance. How? Easy. These two scenes in particular:

And now you know. ^^

*thinks* I guess I have an idea why I love violence so much now
What? I can't be inspired by straight romances even though I'm gay?
I personally believe that because there aren't ENOUGH gay romances that inspiration comes from the straight ones. But I grew up on straight romances, and I was into girls before I accepted that I was bi. But inspiration comes from everywhere. I should know, as you've told me in the past. XD
However, I will say this. The woman who Selina Kyle is an excellent actress. I thought for sure I would laugh when she said "Oh my god, does this mean we have to start fighting?" But instead, the scene was so supercharged with emotion that all I could do was go "awww," in a true empathetic way.
Yeah, I can definitely see how being raised on that would make one a hopeless romantic. I suddenly must watch this entire film...
I'm quite upset that this movie didn't receive the recognition it deserved. This was a great follow-up from the 89 Batman movie, and in my opinion, one of Tim Burton's best work next to Edward Scissorhands. If you understand how Tim Burton's mind works, then this is definitely a great film.
I actually feel very much the same. I don't like admitting it, but I'm a total romance whore. And as cruel as it seems, watching a romance that could never be is even more beautiful to me for some reason. xD
Probably why there's a certain plotline in my story, lol.
I figured you'd want to know the method behind my madness ^^
And I completely agree; romances like that are complete tear-jerkers for me as well. Can't wait to read your story, bro!
