988 will be like "911" but for a dire mental health energencies such as suicide ideation, severe depression, etc. Mental Health care in the USA still has a long ways to go before its up to satisfactory standards. But atleast this will be a step in the right direction. Service starts 7/19/2022 from what I heard.
