Shepski’s Commission Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your consideration of getting a commission from me! Please note that by commissioning me you are agreeing to these terms and conditions so read them in their entirety and make sure you understand them. For inquiring about a commission (if I am open), or if you have any questions, please reach out to me via one of the following channels:
- FurAffinity Notes
- Discord (KinkyShepski)
If you reach out in any other way, I cannot promise I will see the note in a reasonable timeframe.
You must be age 18+ in order to commission work from me, no exceptions!
Current Commission Pricing
$35 / 1,000 words. (Maximum of 10,000 words).
Private Commission fee - $10 (Won't be posted on my FA gallery or shared by me on any platform)
Payment Terms and Conditions
Payments are handled through PayPal Invoicing. Please note that payments are non-refundable under any circumstances. Currently, I will have an estimate of a minimum word count your story will be, and I will ask for a maximum in case I write more than initially estimated. Approximately 75% (I usually try to round to the nearest $5) of the minimum word count balance will be due before any drafts are written, and the remaining balance will be due after the rough draft is sent for initial review. This is subject to change as I get better at estimating word count in the planning phase.
I do invoice in 1,000 word blocks and usually round up or down at the 500 word mark (1,500 words invoiced as 2,000, 1,400 words invoiced as 1,000). I try not to write below what's invoiced and usually the extra words are thrown in as a bonus should that be the case.
Process of Commissioning
Wait for Commissions to Open. My FurAffinity page is the best place to see this information, but it will likely be posted on various social media accounts as needed.
Message for a slot. Once I’ve opened my commissions, use one of the contact methods listed above to reach out to express interest in a slot. Please have at least a brief plot description of the story you are interested in contained inside your first message to me. Everything else can be discussed further including character references, word count estimates, plot outlines, etc.
Confirm your slot. I will clearly confirm with you that I’ve given a commission slot to you, and you will see this reflected on my Trello (you can request to have your name omitted from the Trello, in which case I will give you a number to track it with). From there we will discuss details and further flesh out the plot of your story if needed.
Outlining. I will write a bullet-point outline of the plot which I will use to write your story. I am happy to revise this as many times as needed. I will probably ask a few questions about character interactions, dialogue, and other things to aid in the planning process.
Payment. Once the outline is finalized, I will request a PayPal email address to send the invoice to. I will be happy to take 100% of the payment up front for shorter stories, otherwise I will ask for the downpayment of roughly 75% of the final total.
Writing. After payment has been received, I will start writing. Please keep an eye on your inbox as I will likely reach out to you if I have clarifying questions throughout the writing process. Some questions and preferences come up in writing that I can’t foresee, and I always want to make sure your story is to your liking.
First draft confirmation. Upon the completion of the first draft, I will do a brief editing pass and then send it to you for review. This is also the opportunity to ask for anything you would like changed about the story so I can go back and rewrite as needed. At this time, the remaining balance will be due in addition to requests for extra length, should you be interested in extending the commission.
Final draft delivery. Once I have the desired comments and edits, I will return and do a final editing pass over the draft. This will be the final PDF that I will deliver to you (I can also provide a .txt file should you desire it).
You are more than welcome to post commissioned work to your own FurAffinity and other galleries, and I will provide a 120x120px thumbnail if you would prefer. I do ask that you provide a link back to my FurAffinity page near the top of the submission details so others are able to find my information and other works. My posting schedule is typically on Sundays, though you do not need to wait for me to publish the story to post it to your own gallery.
DO NOT USE ANY OF MY WRITTEN WORK IN CRYPTOCURRENCY, NFT, OR GENERATIVE AI PROJECTS. This is a STRONG rule and I WILL NOT tolerate it. If there is evidence that you have commissioned work for use in these ways, I will not take commissions from you into perpetuity. I won’t write an entire piece here on the myriad of reasons why gAI stuff is wrong but as a part of a fandom that is built around artists and creatives, I refuse to participate in an economy that has decided that creative work should be another automated commodity.
Hard Limits
I am a kinky dog but there are certain things I am not comfortable writing. These are as follows:
- Underage Characters in NSFW stories. All characters in my NSFW stories must be legal adults. I will not write underage characters in NSFW situations under any circumstances, so do not ask. This includes canon characters that are under 18+ in their canon works.
- Zoophilia. The Harkness test should be a fairly good indicator of whether or not I’m comfortable writing what you’re interested in, though it is not a guarantee (ie. I am unlikely to write human x feral). If you are still uncertain, you are more than welcome to reach out and ask beforehand.
- Other People’s Characters in NSFW Commissions. I won’t write other people’s characters into stories unless they reach out and consent. A faked message from a popular furry is not sufficient proof, I will need them to reach out to me from a reputable account and tell me they consent to having their character in your commission. (This does not apply to characters from popular media, though note that this is situational and I cannot promise whether I will be able to write them in).
I reserve the right to refuse subject matters even if they don’t appear under this list. Please do not try to ‘well technically’ my no-go list, I have the final say in all circumstances regarding my commissions.
Subject Strengths and Weaknesses
Some things I am particularly good at writing are:
- Vore (Digestion and Disposal Focus)
- Diapers/ABDL
- Petplay
- Destruction and Permanence
- Garbage play
- Scat
- Watersports
- Dronification / Transformation
- Chances are, if it’s been included in a previous personal story or commission, I’d be able to include it again.
Don’t worry if your kink isn’t on this list! I’m always looking to expand my horizons and I’m happy to venture into almost any kink!
Some things that I am probably not going to be good at writing are:
- Fantasy Characters (Fae, Elves, Orcs, etc.) I just don’t have the knowledge, nor context to do these characters justice.
- Musk/Scent Play/Farts as a primary focus. I don’t mind including them in stories, I just don’t have the most experience writing it.
