Hi there!

Goodness, it has been ages since I was last here! How’s everyone been doing since… January 29th of this year? Have you been having a good 2023? Have you done anything fun or exciting? Lemme know, I’d love to hear about it!

I’ve been doing good. It has been a year of self discovery but I’m certain nobody came here to read about good ol’ Shepski’s life adventures. Remember that thing in my bio about being a college student? Well I’m still doing that but I’ll be not doing that in about eight months’ time if all goes according to plan because this kinky dog will soon be a kinky… What comes after college? Oh heck…

To save the ‘I’m sorry I haven’t been writing’ and ‘I’ve needed a break’ stuff, long story short is I took a break from writing for an extended period of time. In fact, a lot of time passed. I’m a bit rusty now but I’m working on recovering that skill since I still do want to contribute to the pool of smut on this website. However I’ve returned to writing this month, slowly ramping up work on a number of stories in hopes that I can deliver at least a couple new pieces to read before the year’s end.

While I work on a story that was supposed to be short and sweet but has quickly spiraled out of control, here’s a new edition of Success from Failure. I feel like this is probably one of the better parts in the series, given part one was an interesting introduction, part two was an adorable interaction, and part three certainly was a thing that existed. This covers the next step in Paige and Daniel’s journey to solving the mystery of full-dive virtual reality and mental adjustment, as well as the next step in their own discovery of the ABDL dynamic between them. After discussing summer plans with Dean Caldwell, the two find themselves at an ageplay munch in this adorable slice-of-life piece.

While I think I’m starting to piece together an endgame for this story, I do realize that the delivery of it in small chunks as a reason for me to have something to write maybe hasn’t been the best way to do it. I anticipate at the end of each ‘part’ story that I publish, I’ll upload a version that’s fully copy edited and slightly revised as a sort of all-in-one solution to the parts that make up the whole. That is certainly going to be the case with this next story I am in the process of writing, except this time I might try to get almost every part finished before I even start uploading the first ones.

As for what I plan to work on next, I think I’m going to try the test-driven strategy of picking a fetish out of a hat and going at it (that is how <https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47325268/> happened, which people seem to still be enjoying). I’ve had an urge to continue on the trash content since, while niche, it is enjoyable for me to write. There’s also a few stories I want to include that strike me as story first, kink later pieces that will have a focus on plot development and include friskier scenes to drive that plot development forward. I think <https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49905484/> is a good example of this, with front loaded exposition and eventual fun filth later on. Hell, that’s why <https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47820674/> exists, though I might leave the splitting of introduction and kink to the wayside as it feels like that’s just how my style functions.

As usual, if you’ve got ideas or suggestions, even just for brief scenes, I’m always open to hearing them. No promises that they’ll get written, but it’s easier to keep writing when I’m able to draw inspiration from sources other than my own vivid imagination.
