Dont use Paypal
Greetings!
Hey guys,
I wanted to talk about Paypal, recently theyve been going around limiting peoples accounts, and well thats what they just did to me, especially after someone gave me money and I couldnt touch it till I gave ' proof ' of my identity like Address documents and my ID which I am NOT inclined to do, so I dont know If I am gonna use paypal anymore because of this reason, its been seriously pissing me off with how much of a dick theyve been lately, ive been hearing stories of Paypal being an uncaring corporate company where they can even BAN you if they wanted to, even for the dumbest of reasons, right now they lifted the funds but for some reason I cant delete my old card ( since I have to get a new bank account ) and I cant even link my paypal to anything, so basically its still limited, idk if they want me to still do the bullshit private info sharing
Thats why I say, PLEASE USE CAUTION when using the banking system fuckwad called paypal, like Ive heard Venmo is a better option and from my experience Cashapp is a much better alternative, even Zelle too, basically, if you guys can PLEASE use those with me because I dont know if I am going to use paypal anymore if they keep this bullshit up.

FA+

If anything it is friendlier and more predictable than them
PayPal didn't start doing that recently,
I had to verify my accound when i created it 7 years ago, they have to follow the laws of your country
If they really just started doing that for you and people you know you should thank your government for cracking down on them
They even illegally forced credit plans on people, and even some of the shady buisness they have done is illegal in some states as well ( look it up )
Our government doesnt do shit to make this better, the only time action is done is when they are sued and forced to pay a fine, thats what happened one time with a company they didnt like and they held their accounts hostage, but the group won the case and they were fined 4 million dollars for it
so no, Im starting to loose trust in paypal if this is the shit their gonna do
I can still using as long i don't "mention" the name here or in any Open comentary here in fa
Zelle is pretty good since it's bank backed so they have to comply with banking regulations (PayPal only has to comply with looser money transmitter rules), but not sure if that means clients get your real name / phone number.
I know people love to hate on it, but this is the sort of thing bitcoin is actually useful for -- having your money under your own control so you're not locked out of it. Of course, it has many other downsides (volatility, environment, speculation, ui, fees, etc etc).
yeah I might set up stuff with Zelle just in case when i have things situated
yet I dont know shit on how to use Bitcoin tho xD or even how to mine it
Regarding bitcoin, basically the process is: you download a free wallet to your computer or phone, then tell your customer the receiving address, they send the funds, then you cash out to your local currency via an online exchange or an in-person ATM if you live near one.
Here's some links (I'm not affiliated with any of these, just providing in case you want to read more)

Paypal is incresingly getting more scummy with their guidelines, I am using Buy me a Coffee for commissions from now on, and honestly I am very glad I am no longer using Paypal, I've been wanting to let go of Paypal for a while.
