Pretty fuckin cool when you just learn that, apparently, in order for me to "be in the furry community", that my politics that I keep to myself MUST apparently become everyone else's fucking business.
When I know for a fact I'm only allowed to have certain opinions and allowed to say certain things.
Its rich its really fucking rich.

Trust me, it never changes.
Like all social media, you have to realize that even in the digital landscape, your still dealing with "people".
And people are imperfect beings with biases, separate ideology, and opinions.
When one makes their opinions public, they are for everyone to view, see, and judge; against your will or not.
This is no acceptation to anyone, even myself.
There's no way out in these situations. You either say exactly what they want you to say, or if you keep quiet or have even the slightest different belief or opinion, apparently your less than dirt and should be ostracized.
A thicker skin should be obtained, and let them squabble among themselves.
I certainly didnt get to where I am now, with sensitive skin.
Combine that with curation algorithms designed for engagement, and you get tribalism as a social signaling avenue: No compromises on anything, "I'm always right 100% of the time", "Everyone else's wrong/stupid/<target slur here>".
Just trudge through this & try to ignore the flamers as much as you can. Be as detailed, verbose, & unambiguous about your statements as possible.
