I only had one stone, and it was the worst pain in my entire life. I had only taken half of a single dose of the norco though, because it was so addictive, I had caught myself thinking things that were so out of the usual for me. "I think it's starting to hurt again... Just one more time and that's it..." -- "I'm feeling down, and I could really use a pick-me-up... Just this one time..."

It was scary. The artificial euphoria was so intense that it made me believe that I had never been "truly happy" in my entire life, and that the happiest moments were nothing but a pit of pure misery by comparison. The analytical side of my brain recognized that this wasn't the real me thinking, so I went through the next several weeks without taking any more of the pain medication.

Kidney stones are WAY worse than childbirth. Those parts are not designed to pass solid objects like a vagina is.

The thing that makes the stones hurt so bad is they are spiky as hell.

As a matter of probability, it's a weaker variant since it's been killing the stronger. But I wasn't sure what to think as the location was a hospital. I'm glad to hear he's recovered from it. Being in the hospital, he doesn't need to get MORE problems while already there.
