Dream

I’m in a massive auditorium in a convention center, trying to figure out where to sit. I am eventually recognized by a friend in the crowd and we find some some empty spots at a table. After getting seated, i realized my badge has a number on it that corresponds to the seat I took, 89. My friend, seated across from me is in the incorrect seat. He gets up and comes around to my side of the table a takes his correct seat, 90.
Every one else is seated, and some sort of ceremony begins. People at the tables stared standing and I’m unsure why. They begin the sort themselves onto concentric circles marked on the floor that originate from the center of the auditorium. I reluctantly stand up, having just found a seat and not wanting to move again. I find a place in the circles and not before long there is an announcement and the whole crowd starts to reorganize again. People start sorting themselves into different rooms and sitting at tables.
These tables each have a descriptor/phrase that describes the people seated there, like a superlative. It seems all the people had chosen one before hand and knew where to sit.
I wander for a bit as the crowd thins down and people get reseated. I eventually find a table of similarly confused people and sit there, unsure if it is my table. I look at my badge and notice it is a ‘family’ pass, and the table I am am at indicates it is for those who have family passes.
While seated at the new table, there is another announcement and during it I get a phone call that I am needed at my Dealer’s table right away. Some others across the room are already standing, so I quickly stand up and start rushing for an exit before it gets crowded. This causes everyone else to panic rush for the exits as well. There are screams and yells form the crowd as it stampedes through the hills past me. Eventually it clears out. I wander through the hall and atrium, across many skywalks, all very Escher-esk, alone and unable to find the way to my table.
