Developing a Drawing Style?
Heylo,
Moon here.
I am noticing as I doodle and share my art and make more art and doodle etc. that a pattern is emerging in what I draw mostly. I draw robotic critters, eldritch beings, all with a sort of abstract energy to them and hybrid bodies of weird colors. I mostly use ink and colored pencils. Sometimes I use photo filters after I take a photo of the art usually in my notebook, I need to get a proper sketch book but the Chaos in me likes the random margin energy of my doodles. It's like my doodles are buckets to the random rain water run off of my mind. It's poetic and fitting for me when I think about it.
I am in a better (somewhat) space in my life. Staying with parents, I have friends I talk to regularly and check in with so I don't get lost in my head and never come out. It is tempting these days believe me. I would like to try some erotic art one day. But I think my style and skills have to develop a bit more. And maybe I need to find a tablet of some kind to draw better? We shall see. I have the open source software medibang paint pro. It seems pretty user friendly. I make mood boards with canva but I need more original art before I share them here cos I mostly use Pinterest to get art for mood boards - they are mostly for me no one else anyway. But I like the medium of a mood board / photo collage. I also want to get into scrap booking. Slow steps I guess.
Just wanted write a small update on here. I am enjoying watching my art skills and style develop and unfold, I am curious how things will continue to progress as time goes on....
