Your "yard broccoli" looks a lot like our 'Autumn Joy' variety of sedums that start out light pink then turn dark pink near the end of the season. So pretty! Love your sunflowers, too!

We've found that lavender is another sun-loving plant that gives bees something to do during spring-summer before the sedum blooms in late summer-fall.

Is that what they're called? Autumn Joy?

There are so many similar types that I can't say for sure if its an Autumn Joy. I'm not an expert, I only know whats in my own garden. But they do look similar to mine!
