i just think more and more peeps that are using DA/FA came of age in the twitter/tumblr era, where interaction was either limited to a set number of characters, or just a like/repost >.< the demographics are probably different here now and the social behaviors of these new people probably reflect that ^^;

course even older peeps like us still get lazy sometimes, heh, i try to comment on stuff i fave but that doesn't always happen (not to mention i'm absolutely rotten at replying to people...some pics ive posted i STILL havent replied to the few comments ive gotten on them >.<)

course at least you're still regular in terms of your art output :P heh, so not getting feedback does suck ^^;

heh, god i wouldn't wish that site on my worst enemies XD i still dont understand why so many artists use that site, its rotten for basically everything you'd want out of an art platform: discussion is near impossible, you cant fave anything, you cant organize your own gallery, and you cant even post any written topics without splitting up messages >.< as horrible as Tumblr's reputation was, it still was far superior of an art platform than Twitter is (though even Tumblr's layout sucks too...and people interact just as minimally there too)

i was only speculating as to why people are so quiet here :P my theory is cuz a lot of the younger members here just arent used to sites that allow for lengthy interaction...they grew up in an era where retweets/reposts or up/downvotes were the extent of their interaction

but as for making a twitter account...i still toy with doing that cuz so many good plane porn artists are there...and the site keeps making it a pain in the ass to use for non-members...but i doubt you'll get any more interaction in the way you and i would like there ^^; if i make an account it'll only be to lurk XD

That's fair. I can't complain too much I fav and leave myself as well.. I think we always assume someone else will comment lol. Just sucks when you have 3 comments and then see like 99 people faved. I see that and I'm like GAH 99 potential comments!

I know that pain. Though usually the few comments I get are generally insults or sarcasm. So I typically just share my art with my friends privately and get more deep feedback from them. Kind of trying to turn this into a passion project and want to avoid people discouraging me so that's why I don't upload anymore.

But I'm happy to keep supporting. I'm always talking to my closest friends about how great your art is.

Not sure why, but I just haven't been seeing your art lately.

I try to comment. I usually don't have much to say.

That probably means I haven't drawn the right thing to peak you excitement yet!

I can't say I'm attracted to your anthropomorphic vehicles. I'm mostly curious of the oddity of what you draw. It's hard to give feedback when I'm hoping to see something strange. The problem is the more you draw the more I get used to it and the less strange it feels. I can't really think of anything to say. You draw cars with boobies and you draw it fairly well.

But I know what you mean when it comes to drawing art and not getting a lot of comments. For me it helps to have online art friends. People who like to talk about drawing together and share thoughts. That way I can get some honest opinions from a person I can trust, rather than my small group of fans that usually have little to say.
