I know it’s been a hot minute since I posted about my situation. Things are still very tight financially but my grandmother is home from the hospital though her meds make her loopy but without the dosage she’s in a lot of pain. The health department sent a letter and we called but they want my grandmother’s okay to talk to us about her diagnosis. It’s looking like this might actually be West Nile virus. Apparently she had meningitis and encephalitis likely caused by WNV.

She mostly sleeps and we are doing our best with her home care. We try to make her eat at least once a day to her chagrin. She mostly just wants to sleep, she’s very fatigued. She could use some things like a new baby monitor that is rechargeable instead of these that take 9volt batteries.

Besides financial troubles taking care of her and our rescue we have had our hands full and it’s been very tiring mentally and physically especially for my mother. She’s very much the glue and back bone to this whole situation. Without her knowledge of the U.S. hospital system we might not have my grandma here today.

Like I said earlier, we are very much financially needy and need all kinds of odd this to help in her assistance since she is bed bound.
