Over the Rainbow Bridge

Today is a hard one for me. It's my last day with my cat Boodah...
He is 14 going on 15... His back legs gave out a few days ago and stopped working. It breaks my heart watching him try to drag himself, then get upset when I try to help as he's never been a touchy cat... He's drastically lost weight too. Refuses water. So .. I set up the appointment to put him down tomorrow morning. I couldn't bring myself to do it today as when I look at him I see so much life in him.
But he's suffering severely. Even though he just wants the pets and drools from all the love. I know he is and hiding it.
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers especially tomorrow to make it over the Rainbow Bridge in peace.

Aww, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your beloved cat. Hope it can finally find the peace it needs. Reminds me of my young boy Maki. A moment that will forever puncture my heart.
