They give you the option to ask nicely to opt out of AI harvesting. That's not nearly the same thing.

They changed it so that all data is opted out by default. They had to because they were getting flak (deservedly) for not doing anything for art posted by artists who are now deceased.

Though apparently that's only for third-party AI datasets; you still need to manually fill out a request form to opt out of DA's own first-party AI.

Agreed - and there's no guarantee that your gallery hasn't already been scraped and sold off

THey flipped it so the opt out is off by default.

At least they let you opt out by default and not make you pay for it like they do with the NFTs.
