I hope this update finds you warm as we situate into the winter months. ☃️

I've been a little lackluster at updating journals, sorry about that! It's never been something I tend to keep up with much (especially since all of my updates are generally discussed in my Patreon chat) but I'll try to get back to keeping the general public in-the-know, especially with a new year coming up on us. This will likely be the last public journal update I post until 2023, so I will try to keep things short while covering all of my bases.

So, what's been up?

Well, let's start with the downs - or rather, what's been slowing ME down a bit. I'll keep this short and sweet: I need my wisdom teeth removed, ASAP. Infection after infection has caused me to slow down both in work and in my personal life and has hindered me from doing a lot of what a I love without worry I am going to have an agonizing flair up. I had surgery scheduled for January but after seeing my oral surgeon for an emergency visit earlier this past Tuesday, he is going to try to get me in sooner rather than later as this really can't wait any longer than it already has and won't get better at this point until they are out of my face. My apologies if you've had to wait longer than usual for me to get artwork uploaded, especially this week; while I can't promise there will be NO future delays, this should all situate itself out once I have this issue dealt with soon. I've spent the last two days sleeping off this infection while hammering down frosty after frosty. :'D Your patience is really, really appreciated at this time.

Alright, with that out of the way, now we can talk about the schedule for the rest of the year.

As of today, regular commissions will be closed indefinitely to the public. They will still be available to Patreon patrons, but I will not reopen them again until 2023. This change has been reflected on my front page - please be advised! This does not include Weekend Wing-Its or YCH sales, and these will continue as usual. Keep an eye out for these promotions if you would like to get a piece of art from me at a discounted price.

NOVEMBER
For the rest of November, things will pretty quiet and uploads may slow down just a bit - I am going to focus the rest of this month into working on the bigger commissions I have left (two comics and a reference sheet) so that I will have all of the big stuff out of the way for the holiday season. I may (and it's a BIG maybe) do a silly turkey-day themed YCH if any ideas stick, but no promises quite yet.

DECEMBER
Once we get into December, I will begin to roll out holiday-themed YCHes and promotions! I am going to try to save up this month both for my impending surgery and to see my family - of which I have not seen since Oct 2021 - so there will be plenty to grab up (as long as my patrons don't grab 'em first!) The beginning of this month will be very fast paced. Also, as an important notice: I will not be available at ALL from December 17 through December 23rd! I will close my notes here on FA and will not be available on Telegram or anywhere else. This is my period of relaxation and restoration with family and friends to prepare for a bountiful long, new year. 💪

I won't get too ahead of myself into January right now - that's still a ways away, as far as these things go. But I will say that my Patreon will be getting an overhaul for the better, along with my commission prices.
