✨Terms Of Service / Adopt Policies ✨ (My Boundaries)
***When adopting from me, you are agreeing to the following terms below***
After Adopting from me you are FREE to:
♥ Edit any character / designed adopt you purchased from me in any way you see fit, which means; name, personality, style, gender identity, sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, and any other such details. After all, they are yours now 🥰
♥ Have FULL rights/ownership to the character(s) once bought. You don't always have to credit me, but if re-posting anywhere, crediting the original artist would be a kindness ❤️
♥ 'Re-home' the character(s) for any value (i.e Resell/trade/gift/ect.) if you no longer feel a connection with them, or if you bought the adopt intended as a gift for someone else
♥ Use the character(s) in any way you see fit, such as (but not limited to); Roleplaying, character profile sites, fanart, etc.
🚫 You may NOT 🚫:
• Claim the original art as your own
• Steal any of my character(s)
• Use the character(s) in any such illegal fashion
• Use the character(s) to promote any kind of Hate Speech, Bullying, Abuse, etc.
• Edit another owners bought adopt/design
• Due to the nature of adopts, I do NOT offer refunds
Exceptions:
✩ If you're intending to use the characters for any commercial purposes, please communicate this with me BEFORE doing so (if bought in an auction, the price of commercial use will be higher)
✩ Owners can be changed without notifying me
Furthermore, if interested in making art of any of the designs, always ask the new owner(s) permission/consent first
✩ As an artist, I understand that tracing pieces that inspire you is essential for learning and expanding your own art skills. Tracing as a guideline you follow, (using it primarily as a reference) I believe will strengthen your skills (as we all got to start somewhere 😊) Furthermore, you may post pieces that you have traced from me only AFTER you have bought the character(s)
Outright stealing any of my designs is prohibited and will result in you being Blacklisted/Blocked from participating in any future auctions.
*** I May use any adopt/design for my portfolio, and will give credit to the owner/buyer ***
✨ Payments (money offers / BTA's) ✨
♥ Before I can send you the adopt/design, payment is to be upfront, as I believe in a pay first policy (to ensure safe/secure transactions)
♥ Adopt/designs are to be paid through paypal, as I currently use this. I will send you an invoice once you're ready to pay.
Payment must be sent within 48 hours of claiming, otherwise, they will be put back up for adoption
♥ If for any reason you're unable to pay, please notify me ahead of time, as I do not usually allow cancellations
♥ For triple-digit payments (such as 300+) payment plans may be considered
♥ If bidding in an auction, please do not hide/delete comments. If you're no longer able to pay, please just say so, so the bidding can be continued.
✨ Refund Policy ✨
♥ My adopts/designs are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you're unhappy with the design or aren't connected to the character anymore, you may 're-home' them (resell/trade/gift,etc.)
✨ Reservations/Holds ✨
♥ Under specific circumstances, I may make an exception for holds (please do not abuse this...)
If you are needing to put a design on hold, I am wiling to wait a max of 5 days, (minimum of 3) to claim, before the design goes back up for adoption.
✨ What you WILL receive ✨
♥ After payment, you will receive all images (with and without the background) in PNG format, and un-watermarked, once they're yours. I will send them through email.
✨ Copyright ✨
♥ You may not make identical art to the original adopt you didn't buy (especially in the case of a possible Closed Species, or reusable bases). IF I make Open Species, you may use them, just don't completely rip-off the design I make for an adopt, and you're good 😊
♥ You may re-post my art you bought to other sites. While credit is preferred and a kindness, you don't need to credit me every time.
♥ I reserve the right to 1. Use my art solely as examples for my portfolio, and I will credit the buyer/new owner, and 2. Although unlikely (as I try to create unique designs), I may re-use my bases for future adopts if I choose to do so.
♥ If you're interested in making art of the designs, always ask the new owners permission first.
