I’m not paying to upload art at native resolution

I don’t have the money to pay a subscription to literally everything I do, and I won’t put my art commissions here if it means making them look like an MS Paint JPEG due to horribly implemented pixel dimension restrictions (not everything is 16:9 so in reality uploads will be a lot worse than it looks).
Needless to say, if I’m ever in a position to get any more art and this change goes through, you won’t find it here.
It’s a shame because this site is the last somewhat usable gallery site on the internet that isn’t full of puritanical terms of service.

I'm a bit sad they fixed the re-upload glitch, but it's not the only thing they fixed, you also can't see dates anymore on mobile and the new banner graphics get squished/stretched depending on your device's resolution (101 web development :/)

It's sheer absurdity. They're already limiting by filesize, why the hell did they also decide they had to limit to an arbitrary resolution and aspect ratio as well?!?
