Wow it's really been a year since I've updated this huh
2 years ago
As you may know, almost two years ago my body gave out and I went homeless in the span of a month, but here I am now with things looking up:
Five moves later and all that time applying for jobs, and I'm finally employed... ...at a physically demanding overnight retail gig for far too little to afford a place of my own, but since I'm not under many financial obligations, I'm able to save a lot of it up and could start finally getting art again after so long. Don't worry about my knee, it still has chronic pain but keeping in motion is really helping it. Honestly most painful thing for me right now is driving for more than a couple hours at a time, especially with cruise control on.
I can't describe just how good commissioning art makes me feel inside, it's the most gender affirming thing I can do for myself right now, and while I do have a back catalogue that I still look at and appreciate, I can't wait to get something fresh and "revive" this page (even though I haven't really left, I've been active on Mastodon primarily, though nowadays with odd hours).
I've got something planned, but I've got to wait for the artist to go through their current queue. Though this means I can let my idea stew and write more down and make it even better!
In any case, I've still got a gazillion things from my old design's catalogue that, although I really love my current design, I still really really like to look at and will post them as I find out "wait, I haven't put this up". The link rot from the site formerly known as Twitter is probably turning a lot of my old comms into lost media now. If you know of something I've had in the past and I haven't posted it up, feel free to shoot me a note about it and I'll get around to it (and hopefully I routinely check here from now on).
Stay squeaky everybody! >:3c
(P.S. I am not liable for any sudden pooltoyification upon reading that closing signature)
