Patreon is officially live!

After years of hesitation, I've finally gone through with setting up a patreon!
I can't assume that folks following me here are aware of my more active personal posting on my pillowfort or my twitter. Due to that, I'll try to recap what's been going on with me! It's hard to cram everything into a short version, but suffice to say it's been a rough year. My husband was laid off, and his job had been both our main supporting income and our means of insurance. Given that I have MS, this was especially bad news, because it means I'll be off treatment. All of November was a stressful, scary, anxiety-inducing month. The whole lot of it just felt cursed. I was really amped about starting a new job, but then I had a terrifically horrible MS flare-up/relapse, which then made it so I couldn't even work the job I had tried so hard to get. For those not familiar with multiple sclerosis, their relapses are often akin to a stroke. You just get this inability to function, parts of your body stop working, etc., it fucking sucks. In addition to my health being at risk, I felt so defeated and embarrassed that I my illness couldn't even handle a proper labor job, especially when we needed it most.
So, where does that leave us?
While my partner has been doing his part with some hopeful looking prospects, I finally caved in to the suggestion of patreon. If I can not do your more conventional employment given my situation, the least I can do is buckle down and go full-time as an artist. It is the hope that this will give some much needed extra income in addition to more consistently churning out the type of art folks seem to enjoy! I explained the gist of what to expect here, in what should be a public post. You'll get little doodles, WIPs, behind-the-scene-extras, make suggestions, get to vote on polls, and be able to see art far in advance before it goes public! I'm still figuring stuff out, so I am always open to feedback in regards to what works best on there.
I do really hope this appeals to folks, and I do truly appreciate every kind generous soul who has been selfless enough to drop me a wee donation to help us stay together through these shitass times! So far everyone has been so wonderful, really showing so much amazing support, and I know I will always remember and appreciate it. Sincerely, my gratefulness knows no bounds. With that said, I hope everyone has some really great holidays and a happy New Year! May the next one be better and come with a much needed boost of luck.
