To those of you who watch my YT, I uploaded a video where i asked for help since my laptop wasn't working properly.

I found out some time later that it broke. I don't have the money to get it repaired so I opened the FA shinies tip system, if you have any money you can spare, please donate. That laptop is what I use for practically everything, I've had it for years and I won't be able to afford it's repairs by myself.

What do they say happened to it? If no water got to the keyboard it could have gotten a static shock, I have seen that take out a buffer chip on the keyboard, regardless the keyboards are pretty cheap for these, how much do they want to fix it? With the model number I could find the part and then there are any number of youtube videos showing step by step how to replace it. Or did a shop say it was somehow not the keyboard? Good way to check, try a USB or bluetooth keyboard on it.

They couldn't figure it out without taking it in, inspecting it would be $150, with repairing it for another $50, so $200 total. An external keyboard works, it's the main one that's not working properly.
Then its the keyboard, you can use an external one and replace the one inside it. I take it you are not handy that way. What is the model number?
