Okay. I'm having to do this from my phone because something is going on with Firefox and my laptop.
Recently, I got the final Windows updates for 8.1, but when I opened Firefox, it closed on me and a Firefox Crash Reporter popped up.
Is this because of the update or is it something else entirely?
Any info would be appreciated.

First would try launching in Troubleshoot (safe) mode: hold down the shift key while opening Firefox.
This would allow you to test what could be causing it.
