50....pounds? euros? I dunno, but that sounds like a ton for a single commission. Unless it's like, full-digital color and highly shaded or something.

in USD, here are some average prices that artists charge:

Sketch: 5 to 15 USD
Inked: 10 to 20 USD
Colored: 20 to 50 USD

Dunno about full-body, or mugshot, ect. but those are just some guidelines.

Most people that charge that much do it because they live off of the commish money.

rux, I don;t think you should raise your commish prices unless your doing it to support yourself financially. If it's just a hobby that occasionally brings in some $$$ then the pice shouldn't really be raised.
